Paris Green (Scheele's Green) was a wildly fashionable colour in the 19th century, used in clothing, wallpaper, fake flowers, hats. Sadly, it was also a highly toxic form of arsenic, which caused Victorian Europe was said to be bathed in green thanks to a newly developed dye called Scheele's green.
