The bodice of the dress is constructed from multiple panels that have boning set between each so that it is shaped right down through the hip area. Above and below that center portion, the dress is made of a fine black silk netting. The netting is hand gathered in softly draped pleating across the bodice and shaped to highlight the bust area.
